Long shirts.

When I was last in Japan I noticed this trend. That is, long shirts. Many of them had big, bold letters on them with phrases, even if they didn't make sense, they were still catchy. There are shirts like these for both girls and guys.

Girls.
check out this site for plenty of long shirts and some dresses, all cute and reasonably-priced.

Guys.
check this out ^_^ and I hope you will be satisfied. There are hot looks that keep you feeling fresh, clean and stylish.

Things to keep in mind: If you are not Japanese, you should know that your body frame may be different than the average when buying clothes, however you can still be accommodated for, especially if you try on the size first to figure out what is right for you. =) It should not take too much time and if all else fails, you can look for a tailor to help you out. If you do not speak Japanese well, then bring along a friend who does, or use a translator to request what you want. If you go to places that attract more tourists, then it is more likely to find someone who speaks English, however it is not a given so be sure to know your basics. =)

Accessories: Scarves, bandanas, gloves and boots work well with these style shirts. You can also go for hats like baseball caps or sunhats possibly as well, depending on the style of the shirt. A cowboy hat or artist hat may be options too, or maybe a smooth black one with nice curves. (forgive me, my engrish brain is melting XD)

come back for more :D

Asian hairstyles.

A general theme is that many asian hairstyles have many layers. In girls it is common to find that there is more volume up top and that the hair below is shaped to be thinner, possibly wavy or dyed. A popular dye is to use henna. For guys, many are spiky after there are layers, sometimes hair covering the eyes but it is not a must.

Girls
T
his picture shows many different hairstyles. In Japan it is not unordinary to go a little crazy, however the school systems are sometimes strict on what you can do with your style, including the hair color, cut, if you wear make-up, ect. If you are attending a school in Japan you should always be aware of this so you do not spend extra money and time on something that will have to be changed in the end.

In some cases the hair styles are cute in ways that resemble anime characters, while others are more reserved and versatile. There are many different options, but if you are looking to make your hair as an Asian style, try something easy to manage, possibly with bangs and many layers. For the bangs take notice if you are going to be parting your hair a certain way, that it looks good whatever way you plan to have it. Otherwise adjustments may need to be done.

Guys
W
hen I think of a guy hairstyle, the most common people that I imagine are celebrities and also anime characters. Take for example the different hairstyles in Nana.. that of Ren, Takumi, or Shin. Celebrities may also have a variety of hairstyles.

Certain bands to look at:
Kat-tun
Hey! Say! JUMP
Arashi
The GazettE

I hope you have enjoyed this brief overview of hairstyles :3
